Many walkers use this station as a start or finishing point for the great Coast to Coast Walk that takes visitors from the North Sea to the Irish Sea on a wonderful journey. The proximity to Bees Head makes the station a fine place to explore the beautiful Cumbria countryside. The station is on the Cumbrian Coast Line and the Furness Railway.
