Southern Rail provides services in South London and between central London and the South Coast, through East and West Sussex and Surrey, and parts of Kent and Hampshire


Southern Rail services call at around 213 train stations with most services operating from their hubs at London Victoria and London Bridge.

During 2008 Southern Rail will assume responsibility for the non-stop Gatwick Express service between Victoria and Gatwick Airport, with the addition of through services to and from Brighton during peak times.
