South West Trains (SWT) provides train services to the south west of London

London Waterloo is the hub of South West Trains rail network and connects to London Waterloo East, with South Eastern serving Kent, South east London and part of East Sussex.
Approximately 160 million passenger journeys a year are made on South West Train routes through Hampshire, Surrey, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Devon, Somerset, Cornwall, Middlesex, East and West Sussex and Greater London, serving a mixture of commuters and longer-distance travellers.
Since taking over the franchise in 1996, South West Trains have added in excess of 12,000 additional peak seats. Over the same period, the number of trains run has increased by over 1,000 per week, which equates to a 10% rise.
